Welcome to Locanda del Gallo, our country house retreat, located in the peaceful Umbria hills between Gubbio and Perugia, Italy.
This luxury, boutique hotel accommodation is immersed in nature. Enjoy the green hills, the gardens, the silence. Relax in the wellness centre with salt water swimming pool, jacuzzi spa and massage facilities. Let the chef spoil you with healthy and organic cuisine.
Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi and Cortona are all within easy reach of the Locanda del Gallo.
Pricing Includes:
3 meals a day, daily room cleaning, towel change every 3 days, tea service, use of all wellness centre facilities including jacuzzi spa, steam bath, yoga and meditation classes daily, excursions and planned activities in the itinerary below.
Pricing is based on double occupancy (2 people per room)
Transportation will be included for all excursions as well as trip to and from Locanda from provided location TBA.
FLIGHT DETAILS TO FOLLOW (passenger is required to book their own flight; flight is not included)
Guests will need to arrange own transportation to and from Locanda if not on the to be announced flight.
The best way to arrive at the retreat is by car. We have included a price list below for a reliable and safe transportation company if you are planning to come from Rome or Florence. A map will be provided for those driving themselves. There is plenty of parking at the property if you choose to drive.
Meals
Think organic tomatoes, salad leaves and vegetables from the kitchen garden. Olive oil from the olive grove, aromatic herbs from the garden, yogurt, cakes and home-made breads. In the finest traditions of Mediterranean cuisine everything is natural, everything is genuine...prepared fresh daily by our own personal chef.
Breakfast will include muesli, corn flakes, various seeds, prunes, homemade yogurt, sliced meats, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, jam/preserves, home-baked bread, fruit juices, coffee, tea, milk and almond milk.
Lunch is typically fresh green salads or soups.
Dinner is a three course plated meal based on seasonal, local cuisine, including meats, vegetables, and fresh homemade breads and desserts. Dietary needs and restrictions will be met if requirements are provided upon booking.
Guests may purchase their own wine at meals or they can bring their own wine but will be charged a five euro corkage fee per bottle
Yoga will be provided daily in a heated pavilion where all of the props will be supplied for your convenience.
We have a number of activities in your itinerary as shown below, all of them included in the pricing.
There will be lots of free time for hiking, massage, enjoying the spa, reading, relaxing and enjoying friends.
Additional costs:
Massage services will be provided on site for €60 for 60 minute massage. Massage services will be available so that all guests have an option for at least one massage. Any additional excursions will be at the discretion of the traveller.
